Hi there! I am Venus, your 6'5" 280-pound Goddess! My life started
in Tucson, Arizona where I was born a 21" long, 8lbs. 2oz.
baby... who would imagine I'd grow to become the towering Amazon
Goddess I am today? Looking back, I always remember being the tallest child starting from kindergarten on. By the age of 12, I was already about 6' tall! I began playing volleyball and basketball in the 7th grade and soon discovered I had a great talent for both sports. By the time I entered high school at the age of 14, I was 6'3" tall and instantly became the star player in my school. I started in varsity volleyball and basketball as a freshman. By my sophomore year it was evident I'd play at the collegiate level, so my parents moved me to a larger school in Durango, Colorado in order to maximize my opportunities for a college scholarship. I reached the height of 6'5" by my senior year, at the age of 17 and my feet had grown to a size 12. Finding clothing and shoes for a woman my height proved to be a major pain in the ass.. LOL!! I did win that scholarship and attended the University of Colorado on a basketball scholarship! During my freshman year in college, our team made it to the Elite Eight in the NCAA tournament. College was quite the experience and I basically became a workhorse for my coach--which by the middle of my sophomore year, burned me out. In order to maintain my sanity, I decided to give up my scholarship and return home. The following year I attended UNC Greeley where I was a red shirt, but by that time I really didn't seem to have my heart in it and slowly lost interest in everything. I left school for the last time at the end of that year and returned home to start "real life"! My twenties saw me living at home for a short while where I began working in the casino business. I learned how to deal blackjack and soon moved to Denver to try my hand a working in Central City. While living in Denver I met my ex-husband. We married in 1997 and moved back to my hometown, where I continued working in the casino business. I became pregnant in 2000 and my son was born in 2001. In 2003, I divorced and retained full custody of my son. I also continued working and excelling in the casino business until I reached management level. I enjoyed my work but after 5 years in casino management, I decided I had enough of the "BS" and took a huge leap of faith to quit and go back to school. I followed my dream of attending cosmetology school to become an esthetician. This also gave me the opportunity to partner with my Mom in her hair salon business she's had for 30 years. We expanded the salon into a beautifully modern and serene day spa. Life continues to improve itself, with the recent addition of my boyfriend, Craig, whom I love with all my heart. And having recently joined this world of Amazons, I look forward to meeting many nice and interesting people--it really is an exciting new adventure. My hope is to express myself through my photos and allow you to enjoy my size as much as I do. -Your Amazon Goddess Venus |
